BUUK supports
work experience for
local students
We understand the value of placements for young people and are keen to provide
opportunities. High quality work experience can help students make key decisions about their
futures. It can help them gain a broader perspective, raise their awareness of different careers,
and provide opportunities for them to learn practical skills and insights into the business
and the working world.
Through links with local schools, BUUK offers students work experience in different
departments – including Design, IT and Business Administration. Placements typically last up
to two weeks with students gaining a good overview of our business and the roles within it.
They will have the opportunity to work on a project themselves and, throughout their time
with us, they will have the help and support of mentors.
